A Thank You Jam To The Most Amazing Fans!

Samba Elégua gives back to the Toronto music community — all you dancers, lovers, friends and appreciators, and collaborating musicians, artists and supporters too — with a warm winter indoor party in the tradition of our favourite events like PS Kensington, Cherry Beach and Uma Nota (think groovy peeps, great tunes, cheap drinks, some SE-provided snacks and cheap cover).

Along with our percussive dancefloor oriented set, we’ll be featuring guest DJs from the Never Forgive Action and Hip Hop Karaoke Toronto crew as well as DJ General Eclectic (Footprints, Uma Nota). Plus more surprises and special guests TBA!

Friday March 5 at the Canadian Corps Legion Hall (201 Niagara south of King Street W., west of Bathurst St.: Google Map).

Samba Elégua is hosting a “Thank You” Jam for our AMAZINGLY SAMBALICIOUS fans who have supported us over the years!!! ♥ Join us by celebrating YOU – THE FANS – alongside DJs Dalia/Ted Dancin’/General Eclectic who will be spinning some crazy vibez through out the night~~~~~!!!!

Where? : Royal Canadian Legion 201 Niagara St. ( 2 blocks west of Bathurst off King).

When? : Friday, March 5, 2010 (Doors 8:30, Our fabulous DJs start the show off at 9, Samba Elégua on at 11 pm)!!!

Why? : To thank all our sexy supporters for keeping US sexy, and standing by us through out the years!

Cost? : $5 cover!* yeh thats right….only $5!!! (nobody turned away for lack of funds)

Extras? : There will be amazing music, snacks, a special speech, a sambaliciously creative “Samba 4 Haiti” Donation box, and last but not least……a slideshow of YOU ALL (yeh thats right…SMILE! you was all on camera)!!!

Unfortunately, there is a limited capacity hold at the venue however we would love to see you all there!!! Because of close neighbours, the venue does not allow line-ups outside, so please, arrive early to make sure you get in and aren’t turned away!!

Also unfortunately, the Legion shuts us down at 1:30 a.m.! We hear there might be after parties though. Didn’t you hear that? What’s that, you’re hosting one? ***
